A recent Doing Business study of World Bank revealed that the Philippines just slipped 11 notches from the previous year’s rank – from 113th to 124th out of 190 countries.

The passage into law of the Revised Corporation Code or Republic Act No. 11232 thus comes as a welcome development, as it seeks to ease the process of doing business in the Philippines to make the country more attractive and competitive.
